Course Details

An annual First Aid refresher course designed to enable the delegate to renew and update the necessary skills to meet HSE recommendations.

By the end of the course delegates will have refreshed their skills to provide emergency first aid at work, recognise the presence of major illness and provide appropriate first aid including heart attack, stroke, epilepsy, asthma and diabetes. Administer first aid to a casualty with injuries to chest, eye, bones, muscles and joints, including suspected spinal injuries. Burns scalds sudden poisoning and anaphylactic shock.

Who Should Attend

This course is for employees who require an update and refresh of their First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work skills in between their formal First Aid Requalification course. Ideal for First Aid at Work trained staff returning from sabbatical, maternity leave etc.
