Course Details

A refresher course designed to provide a useful recap on the initial Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) programme. Providing delegates with practical experience, whilst reinforcing the necessary knowledge, skills and understanding to enable them to perform effective Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the safe use of an AED. Although the course AED is a Medtronic Physio Control Defibrillator, this programme can be tailored to use other manufacturer’s products.

By the end of the course delegates will be able to understand how to achieve effective CPR, the theory of heart attacks and how to use an AED safely.

Who Should Attend

Anyone wishing to learn additional lifesaving skills, who has previously attended an Effective CPR and Safe Use of AED’s Initial Course.
